Agios Dimitrios beach won a BLUE FLAG. Agios Dimitrios is the small Chapel in front of Villa Stella. The beach of Agios Dimitrios is our beach straight ahead in front of Villa Stella behind the Chapel. That means it is a very clean and organized beach and the cleanest in Stalis along with one another (Nana beach) at the other end of Stalis. You can enjoy this beach just 70-100 meters from our entrance. Some bungalows of beach hotels are more far away from this beach than we are (because many of them are huge).

 During our last Greek night family barbeque, the menu included: different kind of steaks, sausages, souvlakis with chicken and pork, potato salad with eggs and tomato, tzatziki, tomato, feta, several baking dishes of roasted potatoes in the oven and many other salads. We have great enthusiasm and we dance around the pool.

So, Philoxenia literally means Love of the stranger

We still use the same word (Philoxenia) for hospitality.
