Villa Stella Family Apartments in Stalis are located in the central beach road of Stalis, literally TWO minutes walk from the Blue Flag beach of Agios Dimitrios straight ahead from our entrance (see this video on our youtube channel). If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the ideal place for you. The apartments are run by a family and as a guest you will enjoy the Cretan hospitality and the feeling of being ‘at home’. The apartments offer a number of facilities which aim at making your stay enjoyable: there is a 40′ flat-screen satellite television in every room and free wifi internet access is offered in all spaces (including the rooms). A washing machine is available in the premises. Villa Stella apartments are equipped with a kitchenette (two electric rings, kettle, toaster and other equipment). For those who wish to have a holiday free from cooking, there is a snack bar next to the pool area which offers various types of breakfast, drinks, beverages, light meals, and long drinks and cocktails. There is a pharmacy about 100m from the apartments. Villa Stella is located in the beach road of Stalis which means that shops and restaurants are close at hand.

If you are coming from Heraklion Airport...
1) By Car
If you rent a car also consider Euromotor especially if you want to have a parking space near to Villa Stella Apartments and ask Manolis to provide you one. Through their website you can arrange to take your car from the airport.
2) By Taxi
If you would like to come from Heraklion airport to Villa Stella the best and easiest way is to take a taxi. There are always many taxis outside of Heraklion airport and the total price is approximately 45-50 euros, there is a sign in the taxi station that states the rates for various distances. The total distance is 30 kilometers. Consider "Crete Van Taxi" if you decide to use a taxi: https://www.cretevantaxi.com/en
3) By Bus
If you would like to come by bus you may take any bus to Malia (the bus station is outside of the airport). You take off at Bus Stop number 29 as you can see in the following map. The time required to arrive from the airport to Stalis (due to the many stops which the bus makes) is regularly at least 1 hour. From the bus stop 29 to Villa Stella Apartments the distance is approximately 600-700 metres. Please note that the beach road is usually very busy with many people, shops and cars. In particular, if you are coming during noon time carrying luggage, you are kindly requested to take into consideration that the heat may make your walking difficult.

Villa Stella Apartments is neither a hotel nor villas but a unit of Apartments. The concept of "Apartment" describes a separate vacation accommodation (vacation apartment) with its own entrance in a block of apartments (Villa Stella Apartments) and some basic kitchenette facilities (for light meals only). The apartments are between 20-30 square meters (equal to 215 square feet to 322 square feet respectively) depending on the room type, for which you may see the photographs under ''room types''.
2) OFFICIAL CATEGORY
Villa Stella Apartments have a high ranking in reviews. The high ranking of reviews indicates our willingness to offer personalized customer service although we are officially just a 3-keys Apartment business (keys for the apartments are like stars for the hotels).
3) PARKING SPACE
Please note that there is no parking space in Villa Stella apartments. Villa Stella Apartments are located in a central part of the beach road of Stalis (yet in a quiet part of Stalis in terms of noise) without convenient parking spaces around. There are no vertical (side) roads to the main beach road. So, it is very difficult to find a public parking space close to Villa Stella. There are also no private parking spaces. This means that you may need to park a bit further from our apartments (about an average of 500 meters) anywhere you might find a place. Sometimes, especially during low season, you may find a parking space closer to our apartments, but this is not guaranteed. Of course, when you arrive you may park in front of Villa Stella to leave the luggage and then look for a parking space.
Another alternative might be to hire a car from the neighborhood (there are many car rentals around so you will have many choices) with the specific condition that they offer you a parking space. Car rentals are expected to offer you a parking space and you should specifically ask for this before you rent a car. You may also arrange with them to get your car from Heraklion airport.
